Kevin has more than 39 years of varied experience in accounting and consulting. During the past 31 years, he has focused his efforts on assisting counsel representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of legal disputes. Kevin has been engaged on many occasions as an expert witness to perform economic damage calculations or to review the work damage claims of opposing parties. He has broad experience in the area of economic damages, which includes determining lost profits, lost earnings, and incremental cost recovery. He has been engaged to provide business valuation services both in and out of a litigation context. His business valuation experience includes engagements for marital dissolution, gift and estate tax, charitable contribution support, buy-sell transactions, and compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Kevin also has experience in performing forensic accounting and fraud investigation services to assist counsel and corporate Boards of Directors in evaluating and documenting financial statement fraud and misappropriation of assets. Kevin presents frequently to professional groups on topics involving forensic accounting and business valuation. He was an Affiliate Professor of Accounting at Metropolitan State College of Denver.
